Caption
Spiral cones of incense hanging from roof of the Man Mo or warlord temple. The warlord god is Kwan Tai and is patron of both police and gangsters. A historical figure from the Three Kingdoms period AD 220-265 he was deified as a Taoist symbol of integrity and loyalty. The temple is dedicated jointly to Kwan Tai and the god of literature.
