Down town Mexico City on the north side of the Zocolo sits a line of the world famous green Beatle taxis. All taxis in Mexico City are of this design and being the middle of the day business seems to be a little slow. In the background one can make out the blurs of a bustling City Centre whereas in the foreground are quietly parked a whole line of taxis. Each one almost identical. Painted halfway in traditional Mexican green with their top halves in white. On top of each roof sits a taxi light and in each windscreen a stuck on sign saying libre or available. Although the taxis will more than likely be fairly old their wind mirrors and alloy wheels shine in the afternoon light as the actual insides of the cars are in shadow.
