Detail of turquoise glazed tiles on Shrine of Khwaja Abu Nasr Parsa Built by Sultan Husayn Bayqara in late Timurid style in the 15th Century and dedicated to a famous theologian who died in Balkh in 1460. The dome was badly damaged in an earthquake in the 1990s and hit by rocket during factional fighting in 2003
